John Rupp joined J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc.’s Commercial Division in 2002. He quickly became a valuable asset to the team and a successful salesman focusing his efforts on representing clients in the purchase and sale of farms, ranches, development land, investment properties and commercial real estate. John is also a certified auctioneer and works alongside his father, Terry Rupp, in the auction side of the business. John completed auction school in the first quarter of 2009 from the Missouri Auction School. John and his father perform auctions for farm, ranch and commercial properties for J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. John also created the residential auction division for Weigand in early 2009 and he heads up the residential auction division.
In 2007, John was one of the top four producers for J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. and he has been one of the top associates for the company throughout his career. He was named Rookie of the Year by the Wichita Area Association of Realtors in 2003 and he has received the Realtors' Master's Circle Award for the last seven years.
As a native Kansan, John has a broad knowledge of market values and issues impacting landowners and commercial property owners in the area. He uses this knowledge and his strong work ethic to give his clients professional service in all of their real estate transactions.
John is active in his community and he and his father volunteer their time at charity auctions for various non-profit organizations throughout the Wichita area. He is also involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a mentor for his "Little Brother" through the Bigs in School program. He is active in their Bowl for Kids' Sake fundraiser and he sponsors a team each year to help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
